Ramashram Satsang & Guru Maharaj’s Early Life

Guru Maharaj, Paramsant Dr. Chaturbhuj Sahay Ji, was the visionary founder of Ramashram Satsang, Mathura. Born on November 3, 1873, in Etah, Uttar Pradesh, he was raised in a deeply spiritual and charitable family. Although he pursued a career in homeopathy, his true calling lay in the path of spiritual enlightenment. His deep interest in meditation and self-discipline led him to seek higher knowledge, eventually bringing him under the guidance of Mahatma Ramchandraji Maharaj (Lala Ji Maharaj).

In 1930, he formally established Ramashram Satsang, a movement dedicated to spreading the practice of meditation and self-realization beyond religious boundaries. His teachings emphasized universal spirituality, making meditation accessible to all, regardless of faith or background. Through Ramashram Satsang, he nurtured a vast community of spiritual seekers, guiding them toward inner peace and higher consciousness.

Guru Maharaj firmly believed that spirituality should be integrated into daily life. He taught that true enlightenment is reflected in one's actions, character, and service to humanity. His legacy continues to inspire seekers worldwide, reminding them that the path to self-realization lies in devotion, discipline, and inner stillness.
